We are excited to have you as part of the G8 team. We would like to provide you with some information about what the IT Service Desk, Technical and Application Support teams do and how we can assist you in the coming days and in the future.

 

What the IT Service Desk Do:

 

• Phone and internet support

• Wireless issues

• iPhone and iPad Support

• General Desktop and laptop troubleshooting.

• Troubleshoot windows issues and basic software support

• Outlook / Email issues

• Password issues

• Printer Issues

• Installing G8 applications

• Set up for Acquisitions and Development centers

• Hardware issues for Desktop, Laptops and iPads

• Arrange quotes to upgrade WiFi or Phone Systems

• We assist with Internet and phone related issues.

• Support channel for miscellaneous issues and referring centres to vendors ie, Eftpos or Smartboards

•  E-tivity Solutions and Training

Refunds processed Mondays and paid Thursdays by Finance for those received via the refund portal by COB of the previous Friday.

• Centrepay set ups and updating user access

• Fee Increases

• Room Numbers and Allocations in Xplor

• Dispensation Process – making changes to attendances in a previous Financial Year
